Investigation Reveals Overpriced L.A. Noire DLC Auctions

You might have heard that the long rumored L.A. Noire downloadable content was leaked by Best Buy. Rockstar Games has promised plenty of post-launch support for the title, so DLC was inevitable, but hearing about it the day before launch was a bit much. But that’s not the only thing, as people are now having luck selling their pre-order and DLC codes for a high price.

L.A. Noire optional content of all shapes and sizes is fetching a pretty penny on auctions across the net. eBay in particular has hundreds of auctions currently running which are attracting dozens of bids. The Nicholson Electroplating Arson Case, which was DLC Best Buy offered to the sleep-deprived midnight game fetchers out there, is selling for upward of $20.00 right now. This comes as a bit of a surprise as the game just came out, and this case is sure to hit the PlayStation Store for less cost in short time.

L.A. Noire is now available at retailers across North America. We’ll update you as soon as new DLC information is released.
