Saint’s Row: The Third has been announced, and what better way to get fully psyched for the title then to have access to creating your own personal character. THQ knows of the obsession that many people have with creating their own superstar and so have announced Saints Row: Initiation Station, a free tool that will allow you to create your lead for the upcoming game.
Straight from the mouth of THQ, the publisher states that you will be able to make characters “inspired by your favorite downward-spiraling train wreck celebrity or prima donna professional athlete” and then share them online with friends. If you don’t feel like starting from scratch, you can also download other players’ creations and tweak them to fit your style.
Saints Row: The Third will allow gamers to team up and form a “dynamic duo” in the game’s co-op mode. Examples of this provided from THQ include a cowboy and Indian or a dominatrix and sex-slave.
The Initiation Station will be offered for the low price of free on the PlayStation 3. Those that pre-order Red Faction: Armageddon will get early access to it but no dates were given for when it starts. Saints Row: The Third will launch on PS3, 360, and PC this fall.
