In news that shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone that owns a PlayStation 3, Electronic Arts has announced that the upcoming Shift 2: Unleashed will feature a rather large HDD install upon boot up. It is becoming a very common thing to have to free up HDD space before being able to play a new game. (Good thing upgrading your HDD is easy and fairly inexpensive.)
According to the reports, gamers will need to free up around 4.5 GB of space for Shift 2. This is not an optional install so anyone picking up the game will have to wait through some installation screens before they get to kick the tires.
