Earlier this year, the Autobots and Decepticons made a triumphant return to consoles in Transformers: War for Cybertron. Activision looks to re-create their previous success by green-lighting a sequel.
According to a recent report, Hasbro has confirmed that Tranformers: War for Cybertron 2 is in development. A specific date was not provided, however, the release is planned for 2012. It also was not confirmed if High Moon Studios will resume their development duties on the upcoming sequel.
With War for Cybertron expanding the existing canon of the Transformers universe, it will be interesting to see is done in the upcoming sequel.
