LightBox Interactive Gives Update on Next PS3 Exclusive

We all know the team behind Warhawk has been developing an unknown PS3 exclusive – widely tipped to be Starhawk – for a while now. The company has now given an update on the development of the game.

LightBox Interactive head Dylan Job gave the update on the title via a batch of tweets which all reads the following:

“We know our fans and the media are very interested in getting an update on what we’re working on and I can’t wait to show it. The game is still making absolutely fantastic progress — the result of all the hard work from our team here at LightBox Interactive! We don’t want to show it before its ready! Our industry shows its games too early a lot of the time and we are not going to make that mistake. We’re really doing some new and exciting stuff and simply put, it all just takes time — and we won’t rush it. Player’s deserve games that aren’t rushed. Period. And I am *so* thankful that SONY is giving us the time we need to make it really wicked — and it will all be worth it!”

Given the fact that Sony are giving the studio the time they need to develop the game is refreshing to hear, indeed. If the quality of Warhawk is anything to go by then whatever they’re developing now should be as good. The reveal of the game should hopefully be revealed soon as Shuhei Yoshida had stated a few months back: “I was expecting that it’s about time we should update the status of what the team is doing. The team has been working on something new for a while, and I wouldn’t be surprised if are able to soon talk about it, but not at this time.”
