Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon series is regarded as one of the best shooting franchises in history. It’s one of the longest running series and will be expanded with Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Now Ubisoft are releasing details regarding the hotly anticipated shooter and it clearly shows why this game will be one of the best in its genre.The Ghosts are the elite soldiers of the future, is how the on-screen trailer describes the game.
Moving on to the game’s on-stage live demo: it’s utterly amazing. It features robot drones highly trained precision units, the soldiers working with various organizations to predict future warfare, gives players the feel of future combat, invisible suits to utilize as well as optical camoflauge – which is, in fact, real technology – of course.
The shooter also seems to utilize a battle-scene awareness as seen in Konami’s Metal Gear Solid 4. The demo continues to show the optic camouflage being used. It then sneaks up on patrols and executes them either with knife or silenced weapon. Fancy.
