Just last week, we reported that official Portuguese PlayStation Magazine had seemingly teased the sequel to PlayStation 3 exclusive inFamous. So it shouldn’t come as much of a shock that Game Informer has revealed their July 2010 magazine cover story, and it’s none other than, inFamous 2.
As you can see from the pic above, Cole’s got a new look, but that’s not all that is new for the sequel…
Game Informer’s July cover for their magazine features inFamous 2. Apparently, the game’s protagonist Cole MacGrath gets a new look as well as:
- New powers (of course)
- New city
- A new powerful foe
inFamous took the PlayStation 3 by electrical storm when it released last year. The game offered gamers a compelling storyline told through an in-game narrative and motion-comic stylized cutscenes.
First LittleBigPlanet 2, Killzone 3, and now inFamous 2? At this rate, Resistance 3 should be revealed before Sony’s press conference, eh? With all these sequels being revealed so close to E3, Sony must have a blockbuster line-up waiting for us at E3.
