The Final Fantasy XIV beta was confirmed to be released on the PlayStation 3 a while back. The Alpha phase of testing for the online multiplayer-only RPG is now drawing to a close and the game will soon enter beta. Square Enix Japan has released some screenshots to showcase what the beta will include.
Remember, the only way to get into any PS3 beta for the game is to have a copy of Final Fantasy XIII which contains a serial number. The serial number can then be used to register on the FFXIV website.
