LittleBigPlanet‘s unique Play.Create. Share. user-generate content has made the game a resounding success, even winning a number of industry awards. So it makes perfect sense that after bringing the game over to the PSP, Sony and Media Molecule would cash-in on a PlayStation 3 sequel. Rumors of a LittleBigPlanet 2 have been swirling around for months, however every time they’ve popped up, they have been quickly shot down. It seems that a popular European ‘Musician’ has let the proverbial cat out of the bag thanks to one little innocent tweet.

With the original LBP featuring an online community of over 2 million user created stages, how will Sony and Media Molecule handle the process of asking everyone to move on to the sequel?
