Tom Clancy games have been a staple in Ubisoft‘s action games. Ghost Recon is no exception with its tactical based gameplay. The series has seen some evolutions over the years and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier looks to have the most promise of them all. Check out the recently revealed details about Future Solider.
Recently 1Up revealed some new details regarding Ubisoft’s next Ghost recon. Four classes will be available: Commando, Engineer, Recon and Sniper. Each class will have unique abilities and gear that are demonstrated in the video below. Commando’s don heavy damage weapons like missiles, Engineers control the drones, Recon class can cloak and the Sniper will receive intel to aid in finding long distance targets. Each class will get exo-skeleton suits which increases the amount of weapons, gear and ammunition you can carry and still be nimble enough to jump and spint. Hand to hand combat will utilize “Krav Maga”,an Israeli form of martial arts that involves instant kills and other deadly techniques.
Ghost Recon will fully support multiplayer with competitive and drop in / drop out campaign cooperative game modes. Competitive matches will put 8 vs. 8 with domination and CTF matches. During multiplayer you will have the ability to check on friendly positions and provide current intel about the battlefield. Friendly units will have abilities that will provide nearby teammates with a boost. A demonstration of this is the ability of the cloaking device to cloak friendly units provided they are in close. Players can elect to take to the battle with the combat drone as well.
