The voice behind Tekken’s Heihachi Mishima, Daisuke Gouri, aged 57, has died from extensive loss of blood. He was found by a passerby on the streets, and investigators are understood to be treating this incident as a suicide.
Apparently, Gouri collapsed on the street in Nakano-region, with a knife and a written will found nearby.
Gouri has provided voices for many games, including working with Tekken for over a decade, providing the voice of Heihachi Mishima to the franchise. Gouri also voiced Bass Armstrong in the Dead or Alive series, Mister Hercule Satan in Dragon Ball Z, and also worked on Metal Gear Solid 2 (Scott Dolph), Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Soulcalibur, and Final Fantasy XII.
