Rock Band: Unplugged for the PlayStation Portable was no-doubt a successful title. From over a hundred tracks (downloadable and preloaded) to the fact that it was a bundled title with the portable platform, the portable version of Rock Band has been and will probably still be traveling along a successful ride. Unfortunately, like most great musical talents, the rhythm title is looking to be hindered by a musical hiatus.
According to Harmonix, planned downloadable content for Rock Band: Unplugged has come to an end until further notice. What this means is, while additional music may come along in the near future, the weekly updates are through for the time being. The reasoning for this decision is to provide full resources to the upcoming Rock Band Network.
While this is sad news for fans of portable rhythm games, the optimistic view is anticipating that the Rock Band Network will be supported on the PSP as well.
