Just when you thought that Modern Warfare 2 has had enough attention in the past week, Infinity Ward comes up with a new trick up their sleeve. Robert Bowling, the Community Manager at Infinity Ward, posted a tweet over on Twitter.com stating the following:
“In a design meeting for a #MW2 controller. Need your advice – Concave or Convex grips for the Analog sticks? Whats your preference and why?”
Not only does this mean there’s a Modern Warfare 2 controller in the works, but that Infinity Ward is looking to the community for their opinion. In his post he asks whether the analog sticks should be concave or convex. In other words, he’s asking if fans would prefer the sticks to be more like the PlayStation 3 controller, or the Xbox 360 controller. So far most replies on twitter have shown a preference for the concave design, so that could mean that there might just be a Xbox 360 style controller for the PlayStation 3 on store shelves later this year.
