With nothing coming out at this year’s E3, Dead Rising 2 has flown under the radar for quite some time now. However, Chris Kramer, Senior Director of Communications at Capcom, has stated that Dead Rising 2 will be skipping next month’s GamesCon and September’s PAX. Instead, Capcom will be concentrating their efforts on a different, larger convention.
“You’re gonna be seeing ‘Dead Rising 2′ next at Tokyo Game Show. ‘Lost Planet 2′ will have all new stuff at Tokyo Game Show, and also a couple new titles from us, as well as updates of the stuff we showed at E3.”
The Tokyo Game Show begins in late September. Dead Rising 2 is currently being penciled in for a March 2010 release.
