Japan – PSP Narrowly Edges Out DSi

In Japan, the PSP narrowly edged out the Nintendo DSi in sales last week, with a lead of just 213 units. Technically, the DS sold more overall, but that’s just the way things are counted since Sony doesn’t rebrand each new itteration of the PSP handheld. Meanwhile, the PS3 kept up its momentum to keep its spot as the top-selling home console.
